    Adebayo Samson Akinade is a veterinarian and PhD candidate in FoodScience at the University of Guelph and a trainee with Canopy One Health. Hisresearch focuses on the application of beneficial microorganisms to improverumen function, enhance animal productivity, and support sustainable livestocksystems. Through his work, he aims to contribute to animal health, food systemresilience, and antimicrobial stewardship.

    Adebayo’s academic and professional interests lie at theintersection of animal health, food safety, and global health, with a strongcommitment to the One Health approach, which recognizes the interconnectednessof human, animal, and environmental health. As a veterinarian andinterdisciplinary researcher, he is passionate about developing science-basedsolutions that address emerging health challenges and strengthen sustainablefood systems.
