    Luis is a Ph.D. candidate and veterinarian with a One Health expertise in infectious diseases. His current research focuses on the invasion of wild pigs and their interactions with livestock for disease transmission risk. His professional main goal is to design and implement epidemiological programs to face and control infectious diseases. He is particularly interested in the wildlife-livestock-human interface as well as the science-policy interface.
