The Canadian Bioinformatics Hub offers workshops across Canada. The Canadian Bioinformatics Hub is Canada’s platform for Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Life and Health and Data Science skills and community development. The platform is built on the two foundational pillars of Training and Community, both governed by an overarching Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility (IDEA) Framework.

PEGASUS Institute is an educational NGO fostering collaboration at the nexus of global health, peace, and environmental sustainability, with a focus on advancing health equity for all, in particular marginalized populations. Our 2026 conference, Interconnected Futures: Pathways to Justice in Global Health, Peace, and Environmental Sustainability (three days), will bring together a diverse community to share innovative strategies, research, and ideas for tackling today’s interconnected challenges, such as from the climate crisis, inequality, to political violence and health inequities. PEGASUS 2026 aims to strengthen our recognition of the interconnection of health, peace, and the planet. Advancing justice across these domains requires inclusive, interdisciplinary, and community-driven approaches. As the world is confronted by climate crisis, structural inequality, political violence, and global health inequities, this conference offers space to share experiences, strategies, research, and ideas that reflect intersectional, decolonial, and equity-oriented perspectives.

Held annually since 1946, the INKY conference seeks to increase knowledge and awareness of zoonotic disease within medical and public health communities. Meetings are multidisciplinary, including presentations on viral, rickettsial, bacterial, parasitic, and prion-related diseases acquired from natural sources, including animals (wild or domestic), contaminated water or food supplies, arthropod vectors and other sources.

Cette rencontre Zoonoses, AMR et Bioinformatique (ZAMBI) réunit des chercheuses et chercheurs et des stagiaires interdisciplinaires œuvrant à l’intersection de la résistance aux antimicrobiens, des maladies zoonotiques émergentes et de la biologie computationnelle, qui partagent leurs travaux et développent de nouvelles compétences transversales en santé selon l'approche Une seule santé. Cette rencontre est le fruit d’un effort conjoint de trois plateformes de formation en recherche en santé financées par les IRSC : CAN-AMR-NET, Canopy et le Canadian Bioinformatics Hub – Atlantic Node. Les stagiaires Canopy des deuxième et troisième cohortes sont attendus à cet atelier, avec un soutien pour le déplacement fourni par Canopy.

The Ecological Forecasting Initiative (EFI) is an international grassroots consortium aimed at building and supporting an interdisciplinary community of practice around near-term (daily to decadal) ecological forecasts. Hosted by the Canadian Chapter of EFI, the EFI2026 Conference will assemble local, regional, national, and global leaders from the mathematical sciences, environmental sciences, epidemiology, data sciences, One Health, and related disciplines to advance the state of ecological forecasting.

In 2026, the World One Health Congress returns for its ninth edition, bringing together a global community of experts dedicated to advancing One Health science and policy. Over the course of four days, the Congress will feature a dynamic and forward-thinking agenda, with parallel tracks covering One Health science, antimicrobial agents and resistance, and the science-policy interface, among other critical topics.
